Vilnius Business College (VBC) is a non-profit private higher education institution established in 1994 and located in Lithuania’s capital, Vilnius. It delivers nationally accredited professional bachelor’s degree programmes in business, management, information technologies, and languages, combining academic theory with practical application. The College currently offers nine study programmes, employs about 90 academic and administrative staff, and serves approximately 1,200 students from Lithuania and over 25 other countries.

VBC’s pedagogy emphasizes student-centred learning, small study groups, and modern teaching methodologies that integrate theory, applied practice, and experiential learning. Mission and Strategic Focus

The College integrates applied research, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation across its academic portfolio, supporting business innovation and sustainable growth.

Its study programmes include Business Management, International Business, Marketing and Advertising, as well as IT-oriented fields such as Programming, Game Development, and Cybersecurity. Teaching methods promote problem-based learning, project work with industry partners, and the cultivation of entrepreneurial and leadership competencies.

Applied Research and Partnerships

VBC actively cooperates with enterprises, start-ups, and innovation clusters to implement applied research and pilot projects. Key research domains include digital business transformation, sustainable entrepreneurship, creative industries, and innovation management. International Cooperation

VBC has extensive international experience under Erasmus+ and other EU-funded programmes. It has successfully implemented multiple KA1 mobility projects and is expanding into KA2 strategic partnerships focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital education. The College maintains a network of more than 50 partner institutions and enterprises across Europe, facilitating knowledge exchange, staff and student mobility, and joint research initiatives.

VBC also participates in national and international research projects funded by agencies such as MITA (Innovation and Technology Agency) and EIT initiatives, reinforcing its expertise in applied research, impact assessment, and cross-sector collaboration.
