The EUROPEAN FEDERATION OF STEAME TEACHER FACILITATORS ACADEMIES (EFSTA)<\/strong>\u00a0 is a non-profit organisation registered in the Republic of Cyprus in 2024 with an order by the STEAME-Academy project consortium. The term STEAME is the acronym for the words (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Mathematics-Entrepreneurship)<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

The main purposes\/objectives for which the Organisation is established are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span> To conduct research and development in innovative teaching methodologies within the STEAME fields, aiming to enhance the quality of education and teaching practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/span><\/strong> To foster collaboration and networking among STEAME educators, facilitating the exchange of best practices, resources, and expertise.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To advocate for the integration of STEAME education into national and international educational policies, promoting its recognition and importance in preparing students for future challenges.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To establish partnerships with educational institutions, governmental bodies, NGOs, and industry stakeholders in support of initiatives that advance STEAME education and its impact on society.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To recognize outstanding educators in the areas of STEAME, through awards and honors.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To collaborate with universities and research institutes in exploring cutting-edge teaching tools and methodologies in the area of STEAME.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To influence education policies in prioritizing STEAME integration.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To encourage\/ support teachers and researchers in publishing articles and case studies related to STEAME. To develop concise documents advocating for STEAME education and share them with policymakers, school boards, and educational institutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To promote Public Awareness Campaigns; to host an annual conference as a meeting place for educators, researchers, and industry professionals; to develop and support online platform observatories on topics related to STEAME education.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To promote professional development of teachers through certification programmes in the form of micro-credentials.<\/span><\/p>\n

><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0To promote and support through membership the establishment of Regional STEAME Academies.<\/span><\/p>\n
